i believe that every person has a story. mine just so happens to surround itself around the Person of Jesus.
i also believe that every person is an artist. whether it be a writer, a poet, a photographer, a musician, a painter, a listener, a giver, etc. it’s your artistry that tells your story. as an artist i tell my story through writing, through my involvement at my local church, a mentor to a slew of inner city kids, a barista of a coffeehouse, a school bus driver, and soon i will be able to tell my story as a licensed professional counselor.

my name is Drew Ryan. i live in Kansas City, and i have a story. it’s a story that is yet to finish. it’s being written. as i write this, as you read, my story is being written and re-written, and told and re-told.
it’s a story where brokenness meets healing, failure dances with grace and mercy, and the discarded is kissed by the Divine. It’s a story of love and rescue, that surrounds itself around the Person of Jesus, and a story that warrants my telling.
